What Omenari is

Omenari is your companion for understanding life's hidden meanings. You write down what you notice: a dream, a sign, or how the day actually went. At 11:59 pm in your own timezone each entry goes to be read, and in the morning you are told what named traditions hold its symbols to mean.

It is a piece of software for reflection and nothing more. The traditions it reads in are traditions of meaning, not claims about the world, and nothing here is presented as fact about your future, your health or your circumstances. Omenari does not cast a chart, does not compute anything from your birthday, and does not tell fortunes.

It is not therapy, and not medical advice

The readings are not therapy, they are not delivered by a clinician, and they are not a diagnosis, a treatment or a substitute for any of those. Omenari cannot know you, cannot notice you getting worse, and is not watching.

Nothing in Omenari should be used to make a decision about medication, treatment or your health. If something you read here worries you, take it to a doctor or a therapist rather than to the next day's reading.

Where you write about a symptom, Omenari will not read it as a symbol: not as an omen, not as a number, not as a sign about anything. If a symptom looks new, sudden, worsening or recurring, the app says so in its own words, outside the reading. That sentence is not medical advice either; it is a prompt to ask someone who can actually help.

If you are thinking about hurting yourself, please contact a crisis line or your local emergency service. Omenari will show you one when it notices, but it will not always notice, and it is not able to help.

The readings are generated

Readings and the weekly portrait are produced by a large language model from what you wrote. They are generated rather than written by a person, they are not reviewed by anyone before you see them, and they can be wrong, strange or unhelpful.

Your entries are sent to Anthropic to produce them. Nothing else is, and nothing is sent anywhere in order to train a model.

A reading names the tradition it is reading a symbol in, and the app can tell you what that tradition is. That is a statement about where a meaning comes from, not an endorsement of it and not a claim that it is true.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 to use Omenari. It is a journal with other people in it, and it is not built for children.

When you join, you are asked for your date of birth, and accounts that began before this was asked are asked once. It is checked and thrown away: only the fact that the check was passed is kept. If it shows you are under 16, the account is deleted and that email address cannot be used to join. If we find out that an account belongs to somebody under 16, we delete it. Do not enter a date that is not yours.

You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and a password. Whichever you choose, arriving a second way at the same address takes you into the same account rather than a new one. If you choose a password, it is yours to keep to yourself; if you think somebody else has it, change it and every other signed-in device is signed out.

What you write is private to your account unless you mark an entry as shared, in which case people whose requests you have accepted can see it. Your readings are never visible to anyone else, whatever you share.

You can delete the account entirely from Settings. Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone.

What it costs

Writing in Omenari costs nothing, and will not start costing anything. Your entries, the search over them, and your Field are all free to use and are never taken away.

What costs money is the reading that arrives each morning and the portrait written on Sundays. New accounts start on a free trial. The length of that trial and the price are shown before any card details are asked for, on the subscribe screen and again at the checkout, and you are not charged until the trial ends.

A subscription renews on its own until you stop it. You can cancel from Settings at any time, it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no fee for leaving. Ending a subscription stops the new readings. It does not delete anything: your entries and every reading you have already been given stay where they are.

The price shown is before any sales tax or VAT. If tax applies where you are, the checkout shows it as its own line, with the total, before you are asked to pay. There are no other fees.

Cancelling does not refund the period you have already paid for; you keep the readings until it ends. If you were charged in error, or something on our side went wrong, write to us and it will be looked at, and nothing here limits a refund that the law where you live entitles you to.

If the price changes, you will be told before the new price is charged to you, and you can cancel rather than pay it.

An earlier version of these terms said Omenari was free and would stay free for anyone using it before it had a price. We are withdrawing that, and saying so here rather than dropping it quietly. Nobody is charged for having had an account: paying happens only when you choose a plan and enter card details yourself.

What you upload, and copyright

Omenari does not take photos or other images from you. A profile picture is chosen from a set of drawings that come with the app, so there is nothing of yours to confirm the rights to.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give Omenari permission to store it and to show it to the people you have chosen to share it with, for as long as it is on your account, and for no other purpose.

If you believe something on a profile infringes your copyright, the way to say so is on the copyright page. Anything that is the subject of a valid complaint is removed. An account that keeps posting material that is not its owner's to use can be suspended or removed.

What is expected of you

Write about your own life. Do not use another person's account, do not upload anything you do not have the right to, and do not use the app to harass anyone you have accepted.

If you do, the account can be suspended or removed.

No warranty

Omenari is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and a reading may be nonsense. Do not use it as your only copy of anything you would be upset to lose.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for anything arising from your use of the app, including any decision you make after reading something here.
